Section 52 of 129 in Pinchas — 6 segments
Segment 1
The fourth and fifth orderings: “from the appearance of his loins and upward, and from the appearance of his loins and downward” (Ezek. 1, 27), in which are the legs of the Hayyoth, corresponding to all of them; and in the sefirot netzach and hod. Metatron is a sign in his host, and he is the likeness of the Righteous One. For the Righteous One is a sign in the host above, and Metatron is a sign in the host below. Metatron — Shaddai is in him: “And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning” (Ezek. 1, 14).
Segment 2
“And their feet were straight (yesharah) feet” — for the feet of the demons are all crooked. “And their feet” — and the feet of the holy Hayyoth — of them it is said, “And their feet were straight feet”, from the side of the Hayyah which is Israel. Israel comprises three Hayyoth, of which it is said: The patriarchs, they are the chariot.
Segment 3
“And the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot” (Ezek. 1, 7) — from the side of the Hayyah which is the ox. “And they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass (nechoshet)” — from the side of the slant serpent (nachash bariach) of the sea, which goes up toward him on the dry land. Ratzo (ran): from the side of Nuriel, for ratzo amounts to it. Va-shov (and returned): from the side of Shaddai, for thus it amounts by reckoning. And it amounts to Metatron.
