One path that shines in the parting of the hairs that go forth from the brain — it is the path in which the righteous shine in the world to come, as it is written, “But the path of the righteous is as the light of dawn,” etc. (Prov. 4, 18). And concerning this it is written, “Then shall you delight yourself in the Lord” (Isa. 58, 14). And from this path all the other paths that hang on the Small of Countenance are illumined.

This Ancient One, that most reverend Elder, the supernal crown, above — with which all the diadems are crowned, and the crowns shine; and all the other lamps blaze (a variant adds: and shine) from Him.
