תִּקּוּנָא רְבִיעָאָה, מִתְתָּקַן שַׂעֲרָא (ונחית) תְּחוֹת פּוּמָא, מֵרֵישָׁא חֲדָא לְרֵישָׁא חֲדָא. הֲדָא הוּא דִכְתִיב, (מיכה ז׳:י״ח) לִשְׁאֵרִית נַחֲלָתוֹ. כְּמָה דְאַתְּ אָמֵר (מלכים ב י״ט:ד׳) וְנָשָׂאתָ תְפִלָּה בְּעַד הַשְּׁאֵרִית הַנִּמְצָאָה. הַנִּמְצָאָה מַמָּשׁ. שְׁאֵרִית דִּכְתִּיב, (צפניה ג׳:י״ג) שְׁאֵרִית יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא יַעֲשׂוּ עַוְלָה.
The fourth adornment: the hair is set in order (a variant adds: and descends) beneath the mouth, from one corner to the other corner. This is what is written: “of the remnant of His heritage” (Micah 7, 18); as you say, “and lift up a prayer for the remnant that is found” (II Kings 19, 4) — “that is found,” literally. “The remnant,” as it is written: “The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity” (Zeph. 3, 13).
