Zohar, Idra Rabba 12
Section 12 of 52 in Idra Rabba — 7 segments
Segment 1
The second adornment: the hair is set evenly in order from the corner of the mouth to the other corner of the mouth.
Segment 2
Rise, R. Hizkiah, and stand in your place, and honour the glory of this adornment of the holy beard. R. Hizkiah rose, began and said: “I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me” (S. S. 7, 11). Who caused it that I am my beloved's? Because his desire is toward me.
Segment 3
I was gazing, and behold, I saw the precious light of the supernal lamp shining and rising to three hundred and twenty-five directions. And a certain darkness was bathing in that light, like one who bathes in that deep river whose waters divide and shine and stream in every direction from that which is above it. And that light rises at the shore of the deep supernal sea, for all good and precious openings are opened in that opening.
