Segment 1א׳

תָּאנָא, אִתְגַלִיף שְׁמָא קַדִּישָׁא בְּסִטְרִין יְדִיעָן, בְּאַתְוָון רְשִׁימִין דְּעֶשְׂרִין וּתְרֵין (ס"א י' בא', א' בי', י' בב', ב' בי', י' בא', ב' בה', ו' בג', י' בה', י' בג', ה' בי', ג' בה', ה' בד' אלו השני נוסחאות מצאנו בהעתקות אשר לפנינו) י' בְּא', א' בְּי'. י' בְּב', ב' בְּי'. ו' בְּא' ה' בְּג', יו"ד בְּה"א, יו"ד בְּגימ"ל, ה"א בְּיו"ד גימ"ל בְּה"א, ה"א בְּדל"ת (י' בד', ד' בי'. י' בה'. י' בג'. ה' בי'. ג' בי'. ו' בי'). כֻּלְּהוּ מִתְגַּלְּפֵי בְּיוֹ"ד, יוֹ"ד סָלִיק לוֹן.

It has been taught: the Holy Name is engraved on known sides, in the marked letters of the twenty-two: Yod in Aleph, Aleph in Yod; Yod in Beth, Beth in Yod; Vau in Aleph, He in Gimel; Yod in He, Yod in Gimel, He in Yod, Gimel in He, He in Daleth (Yod in Daleth, Daleth in Yod; Yod in He; Yod in Gimel; He in Yod; Gimel in Yod; Vau in Yod). All of them are engraved in Yod, and Yod raises them up.

Segment 2ב׳

הֵ"א כָּלִיל בְּיוֹ"ד, מִנֵּיהּ נָפְקַת, כְּדֵין מְעַטְּרִין לַאֲבָהָן. אִתְפַּתְּחַת הֵ"א בְּנַחְלוֹי, וְאַעְטַּר לְרֵישָׁא דְּו', דְּתַמָּן שַׁרְיָין אֲבָהָן.

He is comprised in Yod, and from it she came forth; then they crown the patriarchs. He is opened in her streams, and crowns the head of the Vau, where the patriarchs dwell.

Segment 3ג׳

ו' כָּלִיל שִׁית אַתְוָון, וְכֻלְּהוּ כָּלִיל יוֹ"ד. י' (יו"ד) אִתְגְּלִיף בְּגִלוּפוֹי, וְסָלִיק לְאִתְעַטְּרָא בִּתְרֵיסַר אַתְוָון אָחֳרָנִין, מִנֵּיהּ נַפְקוּ עֶשֶׂר אֲמִירָן בְּגִלוּפוֹי, וְכֻלְּהוּ שְׁבִילִין דְּאוֹרְחָא עִלָּאָה, (ס"א דאורחן דאורייתא) יַקִּירָא דְּכֹלָּא. כְּדֵין הֵ"א אָחֳרָא אִתְכְּלִילַת מִן כֻּלְּהוּ, גְּלִיפָא מִסִּטְרָא מְתִיחָא (ס"א מתייחדא) טְמִירָא, לְאוֹלָדָא לְתַתָּא.

Vau comprises six letters, and Yod comprises them all. Yod is engraved in its engravings and ascends to be crowned with twelve other letters; from it went forth the ten utterances in its engravings, and all of them are the paths of the supernal way, the most precious of all. Then the other He is comprised of them all, engraved from the side that is drawn out and hidden, to give birth below.

Segment 4ד׳

אִתְגְּלִיפוּ (ס"א אתפליגו) כֻּלְּהוּ בְּאַרְבְּעִין וּתְרֵין אַתְוָון, וְכֻלְּהוּ פָּרִישְׁנָא בְּמַתְנִיתָא דִּידָן, וְכֻלְּהוּ סַלְקָן בְּרֵישָׁא דְּמַלְכָּא.

They were all engraved in forty-two letters, and we have set them all out in our own teaching, and all of them ascend to the head of the King.

Segment 5ה׳

שֶׁבַע שַׁבָתִּין שְׁלֵימִין, מִתְפָּרְשִׁין בְּשִׁבְעִין אַתְוָון. שִׁבְעִין וּתְרֵין אִסְתְּלָקוּ, וְאִסְתְּלָּקוּ בְּאוֹת ו' (ס"א יו"ד), רְשִׁימָן בפ' וַיְהִי בְּשַׁלַּח פַּרְעֹה בְּקְרָא וַיִּסַּע וַיָּבֹא וַיֵּט. כַּד נַטְלַת שְׁכִינְתָּא, וְז' רְשִׁימִין אִתְרְשִׁימוּ בֵּיהּ, שִׁבְעָה אִסְתְּלָקוּ מִנֵּיהּ, בְּאַתְוָון רְשִׁימִין. תָּאנָא, אִסְתְּלָקוּ אַתְוָון בִּרְשִׁימִין יְדִיעָן, וְאָרְחִין סְתִימִין, בַּר לְזַכָּאֵי קְשׁוֹט, סַמְכֵי עָלְמָא.

Seven complete weeks are expounded in seventy letters. Seventy-two ascended, and they ascended in the letter Vau, marked in the section “And it came to pass, when Pharaoh let the people go,” in the verses “And journeyed,” “And came,” “And stretched out.” When the Shekinah journeyed and seven marks were marked in it, seven ascended from it in marked letters. It has been taught: the letters ascended in known marks and hidden ways, save for the truly righteous, the supports of the world.
