Se’if 1א׳

מְבַכֶּרֶת הַמַּקְשֶׁה לֵילֵד, יָכוֹל לַחְתֹּךְ אוֹתוֹ אֵבֶר אֵבֶר וּמַשְׁלִיךְ לַכְּלָבִים. וּמֵרֻבּוֹ וָאֵילָךְ, צָרִיךְ קְבוּרָה (בֵּית יוֹסֵף בְּשֵׁם הַתּוֹסָפוֹת). וְהַבָּא אַחֲרָיו, בְּכוֹר. וְיֵשׁ אוֹמְרִים שֶׁאֵינוֹ בְּכוֹר, (טוּר בְּשֵׁם הָרֹא"שׁ). יָצָא רֻבּוֹ, הֲרֵי זֶה יִקָּבֵר וְנִפְטְרָה מֵהַבְּכוֹרָה. וְאִם חָתַךְ אֵבֶר וְהִנִּיחוֹ, אֵבֶר וְהִנִּיחוֹ, עַד שֶׁהִשְׁלִים רֻבּוֹ, הֲרֵי כָּל הָאֵבָרִים צְרִיכִין קְבוּרָה וְנִפְטְרָה מֵהַבְּכוֹרָה, כֵּיוָן שֶׁיָּצָא רֻבּוֹ, בֵּין שָׁלֵם בֵּין מְחֻתָּךְ (וַהֲרֵי הוּא לְפָנֵינוּ), נִתְקַדֵּשׁ לְמַפְרֵעַ. וְיֵשׁ אוֹמְרִים דְּאֵינוֹ קָדוֹשׁ לְמַפְרֵעַ (טוּר).

An animal bearing for the first time that is in hard labour to give birth — he may cut it up limb by limb and throw it to the dogs. And from its greater part onward, it requires burial (Beit Yosef in the name of the Tosafot). And the one that comes after it is a firstborn. Se’if 2ב׳

יָצָא שְׁלִישׁ וּמְכָרוֹ לְעוֹבֵד כּוֹכָבִים, וְחָזַר וְיָצָא שְׁלִישׁ אַחֵר, נִתְקַדֵּשׁ לְמַפְרֵעַ. וְיֵשׁ אוֹמְרִים דְּאֵינוֹ קָדוֹשׁ לְמַפְרֵעַ. (טוּר).

If a third came out and he sold it to an idolater (oved kokhavim — the standing term for a gentile), and then another third came out, it was sanctified retroactively. And some say that it is not sanctified retroactively (Tur).

Se’if 3ג׳

יָצָא שְׁלִישׁ דֶּרֶךְ דֹּפֶן וּשְׁנֵי שְׁלִישִׁים דֶּרֶךְ רֶחֶם, אֵינוֹ קָדוֹשׁ. וְיֵשׁ אוֹמְרִים דְּקָדוֹשׁ (ג"ז טוּר).

If a third came out by way of the wall and two thirds by way of the womb, it is not sanctified. And some say that it is sanctified (this too is in the Tur).
