Se’if 1א׳
נִקַּב הַוֵּשֶׁט בִּשְׁעַת שְׁחִיטָה כְּנֶגֶד הַמָּקוֹם שֶׁשָּׁחַט כְּבַר, טְרֵפָה.
If the gullet was perforated at the time of the slaughter, over against the place that he had already slaughtered, it is a tereifah (an animal with a fatal defect).
Se’if 2ב׳
שָׁחַט הַקָּנֶה וְנִקְּבָה הָרֵאָה קֹדֶם שֶׁשָּׁחַט הַוֵּשֶׁט, אוֹ שֶׁשָּׁחַט הַוֵּשֶׁט וְנִקְּבוּ בְּנֵי מֵעַיִם קֹדֶם שֶׁשָּׁחַט הַקָּנֶה, טְרֵפָה.
If he cut the windpipe and the lung was perforated before he cut the gullet, or he cut the gullet and the entrails were perforated before he cut the windpipe, it is a tereifah.
