Se’if 1א׳
לֹא יִלְעֹס אָדָם חִטִּים וְיִתֵּן עַל גַּבֵּי מַכָּתוֹ, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁהֵן מַחְמִיצוֹת, שֶׁהָרֹק מַחְמִיץ.
A man may not chew wheat and lay it upon his wound, because it becomes leaven, for saliva leavens.
Se’if 2ב׳
הַנּוֹתֵן שְׂעוֹרִים לִבְהֶמְתּוֹ וּמָצָא בָּהֶם רִיר, צָרִיךְ לְבַעֲרָם. הַגָּה: אֲבָל מִסְּתָם אֵין לָחוּשׁ, הוֹאִיל וּכְבָר בָּטֵל (דִּבְרֵי עַצְמוֹ). וְיֵשׁ מַחְמִירִין לְבַעֵר כָּל הַנּוֹתָר מִן הַבְּהֵמָה, אַף עַל פִּי שֶׁאֵין רוֹאֶה עָלָיו רִיר (מָרְדְּכַי רֵישׁ פֶּרֶק אֵלּוּ עוֹבְרִין בְּשֵׁם הָרוֹקֵחַ).
One who gives barley to his animal and finds slaver on it must remove it. Hagah [Rema]: But without that there is no need to be concerned, since it is already nullified (his own opinion). And there are those who are stringent to remove all that the animal leaves over, even though he sees no slaver on it (Mordechai, beginning of chapter "Over these one transgresses", in the name of the Rokeach).
Se’if 3ג׳
שַׂק מָלֵא קֶמַח שֶׁנִּתְלַחְלַח מִזֵּעַת הַחוֹמָה, מֻתָּר; וְיֵשׁ אוֹסְרִים.
A sack full of flour that became damp from the sweating of the wall is permitted; and there are those who forbid it.
