A shop of an Israelite, and stock — that is, the merchandise and the vessels of the shop — of an Israelite, and the labourers who go in there are gentiles: leaven that is found there after Passover is forbidden to derive benefit from. A shop of a gentile and stock of a gentile, and the labourers who go in there are Israelites: leaven that is found there is permitted even in eating. So is the reading of Rashi and Rabbeinu Hai; but Rabbeinu Chananel reads it the reverse.
