Se’if 1א׳
On the five species, i.e., grapes, figs, pomegranate, olives and dates one recites afterwards the beracha Ma'ein shalosh
Se’if 2ב׳
The five kinds of grain that one boiled or pounded and made into a dish, such as pot-dishes — groats, grits of fresh ears, and porridge — even if he mixed with them much more honey than they, or much more of other kinds than they, one blesses over it "who creates kinds of sustenance", and at the end "for the nourishment". But if he put the grain into the dish only to bind it and to thicken it, it is nullified in the dish.
Se’if 3ג׳
When flour is put into almonds that are prepared for a sick person: if they do so in order that it should sustain the heart, he blesses "who creates kinds of sustenance"; and if merely to bind it, he does not bless "who creates kinds of sustenance". And it is good to be stringent and to sip it within the meal, after the blessing "who brings forth bread", and he is exempt whichever way it is.
