Rabbi Zechariah, of the fourth amoraic generation in Eretz Yisrael, is named six times across five tractates, most often in Yoma, and once in Shekalim, whose printed Gemara is the Yerushalmi's.

He is cited beside Rabbi Levi, Rabbi Hoshaya and Rabbi Yaakov bar Idi. The roster marks the entry for review, since more than one sage bears the name and the Bavli's unqualified form does not separate them.

Rarely cited.
