חולין פרק ד - תַּנְיָא: אִילָן שֶׁמַּשִּׁיר פֵּרוֹתָיו, סוֹקְרוֹ בְּסִיקְרָא, וְטוֹעֲנוֹ בַּאֲבָנִים. בִּשְׁלָמָא טוֹעֲנוֹ בַּאֲבָנִים, כִּי הֵיכִי דְּלִיכְּחוּשׁ חֵילֵיהּ. אֶלָּא סוֹקְרוֹ בְּסִיקְרָא, אַמַּאי? כִּי הֵיכִי דְּלֵיחְזִיוּהָ אִינְשֵׁי, וְלִיבָּעִי רַחֲמֵי עִילוּיֵהּ, כִּדְתַנְיָא: (ויקרא י״ג:מ״ה) "וְטָמֵא טָמֵא יִקְרָא", צָרִיךְ לְהוֹדִיעַ צַעֲרוֹ לָרַבִּים, וְרַבִּים מְבַקְּשִׁים עָלָיו רַחֲמִים, וְכֵן מִי שֶׁאֵרַע בּוֹ דָּבָר, צָרִיךְ לְהוֹדִיעוֹ לָרַבִּים, וְרַבִּים מְבַקְּשִׁים עָלָיו רַחֲמִים. אָמַר רַבִינָא: כְּמַאן תַּלִינָא כּוּבְסָא בְּדִיקְלָא? כְּמַאן? כִּי הַאי תַּנָּא.
