קִרְיַת־בַּעַל הִיא קִרְיַת יְעָרִים וְהָֽרַבָּה עָרִים שְׁתַּיִם וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן
Kiriath-baal—the same is Kiriath-jearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages.
בַּמִּדְבָּר בֵּית הָעֲרָבָה מִדִּין וּסְכָכָֽה
In the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah;
וְהַנִּבְשָׁן וְעִיר־הַמֶּלַח וְעֵין גֶּדִי עָרִים שֵׁשׁ וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן
and Nibshan, and the City of Salt, and En-gedi; six cities with their villages.
וְאֶת־הַיְבוּסִי יוֹשְׁבֵי יְרֽוּשָׁלִַם לֹֽא־יוכלו בְנֵֽי־יְהוּדָה לְהֽוֹרִישָׁם וַיֵּשֶׁב הַיְבוּסִי אֶת־בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה בִּירוּשָׁלִַם עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּֽה
And as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwelt with the children of Judah at Jerusalem, unto this day.
וַיֵּצֵא הַגּוֹרָל לִבְנֵי יוֹסֵף מִיַּרְדֵּן יְרִיחוֹ לְמֵי יְרִיחוֹ מִזְרָחָה הַמִּדְבָּר עֹלֶה מִירִיחוֹ בָּהָר בֵּֽית־אֵֽל
And the lot for the children of Joseph went out from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, going up from Jericho through the hill-country to the wilderness, even to Beth-el.
