וַֽתַּהֲרֶיןָ שְׁתֵּי בְנֽוֹת־לוֹט מֵאֲבִיהֶֽן
Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
וַתֵּלֶד הַבְּכִירָה בֵּן וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ מוֹאָב הוּא אֲבִֽי־מוֹאָב עַד־הַיּֽוֹם
And the first-born bore a son, and called his name Moab—the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.
וְהַצְּעִירָה גַם־הִוא יָלְדָה בֵּן וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ בֶּן־עַמִּי הוּא אֲבִי בְנֵֽי־עַמּוֹן עַד־הַיּֽוֹם
And the younger, she also bore a son, and called his name Ben-ammi—the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
וַיִּסַּע מִשָּׁם אַבְרָהָם אַרְצָה הַנֶּגֶב וַיֵּשֶׁב בֵּין־קָדֵשׁ וּבֵין שׁוּר וַיָּגָר בִּגְרָֽר
And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the land of the South, and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur; and he sojourned in Gerar.
וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם אֶל־שָׂרָה אִשְׁתּוֹ אֲחֹתִי הִוא וַיִּשְׁלַח אֲבִימֶלֶךְ מֶלֶךְ גְּרָר וַיִּקַּח אֶת־שָׂרָֽה
And Abraham said of Sarah his wife: ‘She is my sister.’ And Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.
