לָמָה אָמַרְתָּ אֲחֹתִי הִוא וָאֶקַּח אֹתָהּ לִי לְאִשָּׁה וְעַתָּה הִנֵּה אִשְׁתְּךָ קַח וָלֵֽךְ
Why saidst thou: She is my sister? so that I took her to be my wife; now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.’
וַיְצַו עָלָיו פַּרְעֹה אֲנָשִׁים וַֽיְשַׁלְּחוּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת־אִשְׁתּוֹ וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־לֽוֹ
And Pharaoh gave men charge concerning him; and they brought him on the way, and his wife, and all that he had.
וַיַּעַל אַבְרָם מִמִּצְרַיִם הוּא וְאִשְׁתּוֹ וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ וְלוֹט עִמּוֹ הַנֶּֽגְבָּה
And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the South.
וְאַבְרָם כָּבֵד מְאֹד בַּמִּקְנֶה בַּכֶּסֶף וּבַזָּהָֽב
And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.
וַיֵּלֶךְ לְמַסָּעָיו מִנֶּגֶב וְעַד־בֵּֽית־אֵל עַד־הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר־הָיָה שָׁם אהלה בַּתְּחִלָּה בֵּין בֵּֽית־אֵל וּבֵין הָעָֽי
And he went on his journeys from the South even to Beth-el, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beth-el and Ai;
