וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד יָלַד אֶת־שָׁלַח וְשֶׁלַח יָלַד אֶת־עֵֽבֶר
And Arpachshad begot Shelah; and Shelah begot Eber.
וּלְעֵבֶר יֻלַּד שְׁנֵי בָנִים שֵׁם הָֽאֶחָד פֶּלֶג כִּי בְיָמָיו נִפְלְגָה הָאָרֶץ וְשֵׁם אָחִיו יָקְטָֽן
And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
וְיָקְטָן יָלַד אֶת־אַלְמוֹדָד וְאֶת־שָׁלֶף וְאֶת־חֲצַרְמָוֶת וְאֶת־יָֽרַח
And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
וְאֶת־הֲדוֹרָם וְאֶת־אוּזָל וְאֶת־דִּקְלָֽה
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
וְאֶת־עוֹבָל וְאֶת־אֲבִֽימָאֵל וְאֶת־שְׁבָֽא
and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
