בִּֽהְיֽוֹתְכֶם מְתֵי מִסְפָּר כִּמְעַט וְגָרִים בָּֽהּ
When ye were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
וַיִּֽתְהַלְּכוּ מִגּוֹי אֶל־גּוֹי וּמִמַּמְלָכָה אֶל־עַם אַחֵֽר
And when they went about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people,
לֹא־הִנִּיחַ לְאִישׁ לְעָשְׁקָם וַיּוֹכַח עֲלֵיהֶם מְלָכִֽים
He suffered no man to do them wrong, Yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
אַֽל־תִּגְּעוּ בִּמְשִׁיחָי וּבִנְבִיאַי אַל־תָּרֵֽעוּ
’Touch not Mine anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.’
שִׁירוּ לַֽיהוָה כָּל־הָאָרֶץ בַּשְּׂרוּ מִיּֽוֹם־אֶל־יוֹם יְשׁוּעָתֽוֹ
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
