וּבְנֵי שְׁמוּאֵל הַבְּכֹר וַשְׁנִי וַאֲבִיָּֽה
And the sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni; then Abiah.
בְּנֵי מְרָרִי מַחְלִי לִבְנִי בְנוֹ שִׁמְעִי בְנוֹ עֻזָּה בְנֽוֹ
The sons of Merari: Mahli; Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son;
שִׁמְעָא בְנוֹ חַגִּיָּה בְנוֹ עֲשָׂיָה בְנֽוֹ
Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
וְאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱמִיד דָּוִיד עַל־יְדֵי־שִׁיר בֵּית יְהוָה מִמְּנוֹחַ הָאָרֽוֹן
And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.
וַיִּהְיוּ מְשָׁרְתִים לִפְנֵי מִשְׁכַּן אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵד בַּשִּׁיר עַד־בְּנוֹת שְׁלֹמֹה אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה בִּירוּשָׁלִָם וַיַּעַמְדוּ כְמִשְׁפָּטָם עַל־עֲבוֹדָתָֽם
And they ministered with song before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem; and they took their station at their service according to their order.
