שִׁבְתָּם וְקִֽימָתָם הַבִּיטָה אֲנִי מַנְגִּינָתָֽם
Behold Thou their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their song.
תָּשִׁיב לָהֶם גְּמוּל יְהוָה כְּמַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיהֶֽם
Thou wilt render unto them a recompense, O LORD, According to the work of their hands.
תִּתֵּן לָהֶם מְגִנַּת־לֵב תַּאֲלָֽתְךָ לָהֶֽם
Thou wilt give them hardness of heart, Thy curse unto them.
תִּרְדֹּף בְּאַף וְתַשְׁמִידֵם מִתַּחַת שְׁמֵי יְהוָֽה
Thou wilt pursue them in anger, and destroy them From under the heavens of the LORD.
אֵיכָה יוּעַם זָהָב יִשְׁנֶא הַכֶּתֶם הַטּוֹב תִּשְׁתַּפֵּכְנָה אַבְנֵי־קֹדֶשׁ בְּרֹאשׁ כָּל־חוּצֽוֹת
How is the gold become dim! How is the most fine gold changed! The hallowed stones are poured out At the head of every street.
