מִי יָכִין לָעֹרֵב צֵידוֹ כִּֽי־ילדו אֶל־אֵל יְשַׁוֵּעוּ יִתְעוּ לִבְלִי־אֹֽכֶל
Who provideth for the raven his prey, When his young ones cry unto God, and wander for lack of food?
הֲיָדַעְתָּ עֵת לֶדֶת יַעֲלֵי־סָלַע חֹלֵל אַיָּלוֹת תִּשְׁמֹֽר
Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? Or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?
תִּסְפֹּר יְרָחִים תְּמַלֶּאנָה וְיָדַעְתָּ עֵת לִדְתָּֽנָה
Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? Or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
תִּכְרַעְנָה יַלְדֵיהֶן תְּפַלַּחְנָה חֶבְלֵיהֶם תְּשַׁלַּֽחְנָה
They bow themselves, they bring forth their young, They cast out their fruit.
יַחְלְמוּ בְנֵיהֶם יִרְבּוּ בַבָּר יָצְאוּ וְלֹא־שָׁבוּ לָֽמוֹ
Their young ones wax strong, they grow up in the open field; They go forth, and return not again.
