הִנֵּֽה־בִטְנִי כְּיַיִן לֹא־יִפָּתֵחַ כְּאֹבוֹת חֲדָשִׁים יִבָּקֵֽעַ
Behold, mine inwards are as wine which hath no vent; Like new wine-skins which are ready to burst.
אֲדַבְּרָה וְיִֽרְוַֽח־לִי אֶפְתַּח שְׂפָתַי וְאֶֽעֱנֶֽה
I will speak, that I may find relief; I will open my lips and answer.
אַל־נָא אֶשָּׂא פְנֵי־אִישׁ וְאֶל־אָדָם לֹא אֲכַנֶּֽה
Let me not, I pray you, respect any man’s person; Neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.
כִּי לֹא יָדַעְתִּי אֲכַנֶּה כִּמְעַט יִשָּׂאֵנִי עֹשֵֽׂנִי
For I know not to give flattering titles; Else would my Maker soon take me away
וְֽאוּלָם שְׁמַֽע־נָא אִיּוֹב מִלָּי וְֽכָל־דְּבָרַי הַאֲזִֽינָה
Howbeit, Job, I pray thee, hear my speech, And hearken to all my words.
