מָצָא אִשָּׁה מָצָא טוֹב וַיָּפֶק רָצוֹן מֵיְהוָֽה
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a great good, And obtaineth favour of the LORD.
תַּחֲנוּנִים יְדַבֶּר־רָשׁ וְעָשִׁיר יַעֲנֶה עַזּֽוֹת
The poor useth entreaties; But the rich answereth impudently.
אִישׁ רֵעִים לְהִתְרֹעֵעַ וְיֵשׁ אֹהֵב דָּבֵק מֵאָֽח
There are friends that one hath to his own hurt; But there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
טֽוֹב־רָשׁ הוֹלֵךְ בְּתֻמּוֹ מֵעִקֵּשׁ שְׂפָתָיו וְהוּא כְסִֽיל
Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity Than he that is perverse in his lips and a fool at the same time.
גַּם בְּלֹא־דַעַת נֶפֶשׁ לֹא־טוֹב וְאָץ בְּרַגְלַיִם חוֹטֵֽא
Also, that the soul be without knowledge is not good; And he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
