אֲזַי עָבַר עַל־נַפְשֵׁנוּ הַמַּיִם הַזֵּֽידוֹנִֽים
Then the proud waters Had gone over our soul.'
בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה שֶׁלֹּא נְתָנָנוּ טֶרֶף לְשִׁנֵּיהֶֽם
Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
נַפְשֵׁנוּ כְּצִפּוֹר נִמְלְטָה מִפַּח יוֹקְשִׁים הַפַּח נִשְׁבָּר וַאֲנַחְנוּ נִמְלָֽטְנוּ
Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we are escaped.
עֶזְרֵנוּ בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה עֹשֵׂה שָׁמַיִם וָאָֽרֶץ
Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
שִׁיר הַֽמַּעֲלוֹת הַבֹּטְחִים בַּיהוָה כְּֽהַר־צִיּוֹן לֹא־יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵֽׁב
A Song of Ascents. They that trust in the LORD Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.
