חֶלְקִי יְהוָה אָמַרְתִּי לִשְׁמֹר דְּבָרֶֽיךָ
HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.
חִלִּיתִי פָנֶיךָ בְכָל־לֵב חָנֵּנִי כְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ
I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.
חִשַּׁבְתִּי דְרָכָי וָאָשִׁיבָה רַגְלַי אֶל־עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ
I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.
חַשְׁתִּי וְלֹא הִתְמַהְמָהְתִּי לִשְׁמֹר מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ
I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.
חֶבְלֵי רְשָׁעִים עִוְּדֻנִי תּֽוֹרָתְךָ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי
The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.
