לְעוֹלָם אשמור־לוֹ חַסְדִּי וּבְרִיתִי נֶאֱמֶנֶת לֽוֹ
For ever will I keep for him My mercy, And My covenant shall stand fast with him.
וְשַׂמְתִּי לָעַד זַרְעוֹ וְכִסְאוֹ כִּימֵי שָׁמָֽיִם
His seed also will I make to endure for ever, And his throne as the days of heaven.
אִם־יַֽעַזְבוּ בָנָיו תּוֹרָתִי וּבְמִשְׁפָּטַי לֹא יֵלֵכֽוּן
If his children forsake My law, And walk not in Mine ordinances; :
אִם־חֻקֹּתַי יְחַלֵּלוּ וּמִצְוֺתַי לֹא יִשְׁמֹֽרוּ
If they profane My statutes, And keep not My commandments;
וּפָקַדְתִּי בְשֵׁבֶט פִּשְׁעָם וּבִנְגָעִים עֲוֺנָֽם
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with strokes.
