כָּלּוּ תְפִלּוֹת דָּוִד בֶּן־יִשָֽׁי
The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף אַךְ טוֹב לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אֱלֹהִים לְבָרֵי לֵבָֽב
A Psalm of Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, even to such as are pure in heart.
וַאֲנִי כִּמְעַט נטוי רַגְלָי כְּאַיִן שפכה אֲשֻׁרָֽי
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
כִּֽי־קִנֵּאתִי בַּֽהוֹלְלִים שְׁלוֹם רְשָׁעִים אֶרְאֶֽה
For I was envious at the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
כִּי אֵין חַרְצֻבּוֹת לְמוֹתָם וּבָרִיא אוּלָֽם
For there are no pangs at their death, and their body is sound.
