הָֽבָה־לָּנוּ עֶזְרָת מִצָּר וְשָׁוְא תְּשׁוּעַת אָדָם
Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.
בֵּֽאלֹהִים נַעֲשֶׂה־חָיִל וְהוּא יָבוּס צָרֵֽינוּ
Through God we shall do valiantly; For He it is that will tread down our adversaries.
לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַֽל־נְגִינַת לְדָוִֽד
For the Leader; with string-music. [A Psalm] of David.
שִׁמְעָה אֱלֹהִים רִנָּתִי הַקְשִׁיבָה תְּפִלָּתִֽי
Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer.
מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ אֵלֶיךָ אֶקְרָא בַּעֲטֹף לִבִּי בְּצוּר־יָרוּם מִמֶּנִּי תַנְחֵֽנִי
From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; Lead me to a rock that is too high for me.
