עִם־נָבָר תִּתְבָּרָר וְעִם־עִקֵּשׁ תִּתְפַּתָּֽל
With the pure Thou dost show Thyself pure; and with the crooked Thou dost show Thyself subtle.
כִּֽי־אַתָּה עַם־עָנִי תוֹשִׁיעַ וְעֵינַיִם רָמוֹת תַּשְׁפִּֽיל
For Thou dost save the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes Thou dost humble.
כִּֽי־אַתָּה תָּאִיר נֵרִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהַי יַגִּיהַּ חָשְׁכִּֽי
For Thou dost light my lamp; the LORD my God doth lighten my darkness.
כִּֽי־בְךָ אָרֻץ גְּדוּד וּבֵֽאלֹהַי אֲדַלֶּג־שֽׁוּר
For by Thee I run upon a troop; and by my God do I scale a wall.
הָאֵל תָּמִים דַּרְכּוֹ אִמְרַֽת־יְהוָה צְרוּפָה מָגֵן הוּא לְכֹל הַחֹסִים בּֽוֹ
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in Him.
