Nahum 2:5 · נחום ב:ה

בַּֽחוּצוֹת יִתְהוֹלְלוּ הָרֶכֶב יִֽשְׁתַּקְשְׁקוּן בָּרְחֹבוֹת מַרְאֵיהֶן כַּלַּפִּידִם כַּבְּרָקִים יְרוֹצֵֽצוּ

The chariots rush madly in the streets, They jostle one against another in the broad places; The appearance of them is like torches, They run to and fro like the lightnings.

Nahum 2:6 · נחום ב:ו

יִזְכֹּר אַדִּירָיו יִכָּשְׁלוּ בהלכותם יְמַֽהֲרוּ חֽוֹמָתָהּ וְהֻכַן הַסֹּכֵֽךְ

He bethinketh himself of his worthies; They stumble in their march; They make haste to the wall thereof, And the mantelet is prepared.

Nahum 2:7 · נחום ב:ז

שַׁעֲרֵי הַנְּהָרוֹת נִפְתָּחוּ וְהַֽהֵיכָל נָמֽוֹג

The gates of the rivers are opened, And the palace is dissolved.

Nahum 2:8 · נחום ב:ח

וְהֻצַּב גֻּלְּתָה הֹֽעֲלָתָה וְאַמְהֹתֶיהָ מְנַֽהֲגוֹת כְּקוֹל יוֹנִים מְתֹפְפֹת עַל־לִבְבֵהֶֽן

And the queen is uncovered, she is carried away, And her handmaids moan as with the voice of doves, Tabering upon their breasts.

Nahum 2:9 · נחום ב:ט

וְנִינְוֵה כִבְרֵֽכַת־מַיִם מִימֵי הִיא וְהֵמָּה נָסִים עִמְדוּ עֲמֹדוּ וְאֵין מַפְנֶֽה

But Nineveh hath been from of old like a pool of water; Yet they flee away; ‘Stand, stand’; But none looketh back.
