הָכְרַת מִנְחָה וָנֶסֶךְ מִבֵּית יְהוָה אָֽבְלוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים מְשָׁרְתֵי יְהוָֽה
The meal-offering and the drink-offering is cut off From the house of the LORD; The priests mourn, Even the LORD’S ministers.
שֻׁדַּד שָׂדֶה אָבְלָה אֲדָמָה כִּי שֻׁדַּד דָּגָן הוֹבִישׁ תִּירוֹשׁ אֻמְלַל יִצְהָֽר
The field is wasted, The land mourneth; For the corn is wasted, The new wine is dried up, The oil languisheth.
הֹבִישׁוּ אִכָּרִים הֵילִילוּ כֹּֽרְמִים עַל־חִטָּה וְעַל־שְׂעֹרָה כִּי אָבַד קְצִיר שָׂדֶֽה
Be ashamed, O ye husbandmen, Wail, O ye vinedressers, For the wheat and for the barley; Because the harvest of the field is perished.
הַגֶּפֶן הוֹבִישָׁה וְהַתְּאֵנָה אֻמְלָלָה רִמּוֹן גַּם־תָּמָר וְתַפּוּחַ כָּל־עֲצֵי הַשָּׂדֶה יָבֵשׁוּ כִּֽי־הֹבִישׁ שָׂשׂוֹן מִן־בְּנֵי אָדָֽם
The vine is withered, And the fig-tree languisheth; The pomegranate-tree, the palm-tree also, and the apple-tree, Even all the trees of the field, are withered; For joy is withered away from the sons of men.
חִגְרוּ וְסִפְדוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים הֵילִילוּ מְשָׁרְתֵי מִזְבֵּחַ בֹּאוּ לִינוּ בַשַּׂקִּים מְשָׁרְתֵי אֱלֹהָי כִּי נִמְנַע מִבֵּית אֱלֹהֵיכֶם מִנְחָה וָנָֽסֶךְ
Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests, Wail, ye ministers of the altar; Come, lie all night in sackcloth, Ye ministers of my God; For the meal-offering and the drink-offering is withholden From the house of your God.
