בְּבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל רָאִיתִי שעריריה שָׁם זְנוּת לְאֶפְרַיִם נִטְמָא יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; There harlotry is found in Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
גַּם־יְהוּדָה שָׁת קָצִיר לָךְ בְּשׁוּבִי שְׁבוּת עַמִּֽי
Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for thee! When I would turn the captivity of My people,
כְּרָפְאִי לְיִשְׂרָאֵל וְנִגְלָה עֲוֺן אֶפְרַיִם וְרָעוֹת שֹֽׁמְרוֹן כִּי פָעֲלוּ שָׁקֶר וְגַנָּב יָבוֹא פָּשַׁט גְּדוּד בַּחֽוּץ
When I would heal Israel, Then is the iniquity of Ephraim uncovered, And the wickedness of Samaria, For they commit falsehood; And the thief entereth in, And the troop of robbers maketh a raid without.
וּבַל־יֹֽאמְרוּ לִלְבָבָם כָּל־רָעָתָם זָכָרְתִּי עַתָּה סְבָבוּם מַֽעַלְלֵיהֶם נֶגֶד פָּנַי הָיֽוּ
And let them not say to their heart— I remember all their wickedness; Now their own doings have beset them about, They are before My face.
בְּרָעָתָם יְשַׂמְּחוּ־מֶלֶךְ וּבְכַחֲשֵׁיהֶם שָׂרִֽים
They make the king glad with their wickedness, And the princes with their lies.
