וְאֵרַשְׂתִּיךְ לִי בֶּאֱמוּנָה וְיָדַעַתְּ אֶת־יְהוָֽה
And I will betroth thee unto Me in faithfulness; And thou shalt know the LORD.
וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אֶֽעֱנֶה נְאֻם־יְהוָה אֶעֱנֶה אֶת־הַשָּׁמָיִם וְהֵם יַעֲנוּ אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ
And it shall come to pass in that day, I will respond, saith the LORD, I will respond to the heavens, And they shall respond to the earth;
וְהָאָרֶץ תַּעֲנֶה אֶת־הַדָּגָן וְאֶת־הַתִּירוֹשׁ וְאֶת־הַיִּצְהָר וְהֵם יַעֲנוּ אֶֽת־יִזְרְעֶֽאל
And the earth shall respond to the corn, and the wine, and the oil; And they shall respond to Jezreel.
וּזְרַעְתִּיהָ לִּי בָּאָרֶץ וְרִֽחַמְתִּי אֶת־לֹא רֻחָמָה וְאָמַרְתִּי לְלֹֽא־עַמִּי עַמִּי־אַתָּה וְהוּא יֹאמַר אֱלֹהָֽי
And I will sow her unto Me in the land; And I will have compassion upon her that had not obtained compassion; And I will say to them that were not My people: ‘Thou art My people’; And they shall say: ‘Thou art my God.’
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלַי עוֹד לֵךְ אֱֽהַב־אִשָּׁה אֲהֻבַת רֵעַ וּמְנָאָפֶת כְּאַהֲבַת יְהוָה אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהֵם פֹּנִים אֶל־אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים וְאֹהֲבֵי אֲשִׁישֵׁי עֲנָבִֽים
And the LORD said unto me: ‘Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend and an adulteress, even as the LORD loveth the children of Israel, though they turn unto other gods, and love cakes of raisins.
