וַיַּעַל כְּבוֹד יְהוָה מֵעַל תּוֹךְ הָעִיר וַֽיַּעֲמֹד עַל־הָהָר אֲשֶׁר מִקֶּדֶם לָעִֽיר
And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
וְרוּחַ נְשָׂאַתְנִי וַתְּבִיאֵנִי כַשְׂדִּימָה אֶל־הַגּוֹלָה בַּמַּרְאֶה בְּרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים וַיַּעַל מֵֽעָלַי הַמַּרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר רָאִֽיתִי
And a spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from Me.
וָאֲדַבֵּר אֶל־הַגּוֹלָה אֵת כָּל־דִּבְרֵי יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר הֶרְאָֽנִי
Then I spoke unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shown me.
וַיְהִי דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹֽר
The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying:
בֶּן־אָדָם בְּתוֹךְ בֵּית־הַמֶּרִי אַתָּה יֹשֵׁב אֲשֶׁר עֵינַיִם לָהֶם לִרְאוֹת וְלֹא רָאוּ אָזְנַיִם לָהֶם לִשְׁמֹעַ וְלֹא שָׁמֵעוּ כִּי בֵּית מְרִי הֵֽם
’Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of the rebellious house, that have eyes to see, and see not, that have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious house.
