אֱלוֹהַּ Eloah

The singular of Elohim, and a Name in its own right. It belongs above all to the poetry of the Tanakh — Iyov says it more than every other book together — and to the Song of Ha'azinu, where Israel is charged with forgetting the God who made him.
הֲתֵדַע בְּשׂוּם־אֱלוֹהַּ עֲלֵיהֶם וְהוֹפִיעַ אוֹר עֲנָנֽוֹ
Dost thou know how God enjoineth them, And causeth the lightning of His cloud to shine?
מִצָּפוֹן זָהָב יֶֽאֱתֶה עַל־אֱלוֹהַּ נוֹרָא הֽוֹד
Out of the north cometh golden splendour, About God is terrible majesty.
כִּֽי־הִשָּׁהּ אֱלוֹהַּ חָכְמָה וְלֹא־חָלַק לָהּ בַּבִּינָֽה
Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, Neither hath He imparted to her understanding.

Shall he that reproveth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with God, let him answer it.
וְעַל־אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתָיו לֹא יָבִין וְעַל־חֶמְדַּת נָשִׁים וְעַֽל־כָּל־אֱלוֹהַּ לֹא יָבִין כִּי עַל־כֹּל יִתְגַּדָּֽל
Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers; and neither the desire of women, nor any god, shall he regard; for he shall magnify himself above all.

וְעָשָׂה לְמִבְצְרֵי מָֽעֻזִּים עִם־אֱלוֹהַּ נֵכָר אֲשֶׁר הכיר יַרְבֶּה כָבוֹד וְהִמְשִׁילָם בָּֽרַבִּים וַאֲדָמָה יְחַלֵּק בִּמְחִֽיר
And he shall deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god; whom he shall acknowledge, shall increase glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for a price.
וַיְמָאֲנוּ לִשְׁמֹעַ וְלֹא־זָכְרוּ נִפְלְאֹתֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתָ עִמָּהֶם וַיַּקְשׁוּ אֶת־עָרְפָּם וַיִּתְּנוּ־רֹאשׁ לָשׁוּב לְעַבְדֻתָם בְּמִרְיָם וְאַתָּה אֱלוֹהַּ סְלִיחוֹת חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם אֶֽרֶךְ־אַפַּיִם וְרַב־וחסד וְלֹא עֲזַבְתָּֽם
and refused to hearken, neither were mindful of Thy wonders that Thou didst among them; but hardened their neck, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage; but Thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy, and forsookest them not.

Now therefore let not Hezekiah beguile you, nor persuade you after this manner, neither believe ye him; for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of my hand, and out of the hand of my fathers; how much less shall your God deliver you out of my hand?’
