Called by God at the burning bush, he led Israel out of Egyptian bondage through the ten plagues and the splitting of the sea, received the Torah at Sinai, and led the people through forty years in the wilderness until his death within sight of the land (Exodus-Deuteronomy). Deuteronomy 31:9דברים לא:ט

Deuteronomy 31:22דברים לא:כב

וַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא וַֽיְלַמְּדָהּ אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל

So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 31:24דברים לא:כד

וַיְהִי כְּכַלּוֹת מֹשֶׁה לִכְתֹּב אֶת־דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָֽה־הַזֹּאת עַל־סֵפֶר עַד תֻּמָּֽם

And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
