Son of Lot by his younger daughter (Genesis 19:38), father of the Ammonites east of the Jordan. Israel was forbidden to harass them (Deuteronomy 2:19), yet they warred with Israel from the Judges through Yiftach's day and into the days of Shaul, David and Yehoshafat.
